Iran

Three decades of International experience of the Juniors. The junior volleyball team of Iran is taking their fourth decades of experience in 2017 carrying many glories in Asian and World arenas in last 30 years. It was first formed in 1988 to take part in Asian championship and finished 11th.  Five championships (1998, 2002, 2006, 2008, 2014), three vice-championships (2004, 2010, 2016), and two bronze medals (2000, 2012) in Asian championship out of 15 editions of presence are the glories of Iran in U21 tournament. 
Iranian U21 team was first qualified for the world championship in 1993 when they claimed fifth. In 2007, Iranian U21 team beat Italy at World Championship in Morocco and earned the third place. Both In their fifth participation in 2005 and the 8th one in 2013, Iranian juniors finished fifth in World championship. They succeeded to be the vice-champion of Asia in world qualification tournament in Chinese Taipei and found their 11th chance into the 2017 world championship. 
The guys of Mr. Behrouz Ataei, the head coach of juniors as the representative team of Iran took part in Islamic Solidarity games recently in Baku and reign the crown out of 10 participating teams. The NO. 11 team of FIVB ranking is seeking to improve their world status this year.

Ataei Nouri Behrouz

Behrouz Ataei, The head coach of U21 national volleyball team of Iran. Behrouz Ataei, the former popular player of Iran was born in 1970 in Amol. He played volleyball from 1988 to 1995 in all age groups turning into a well-known volleyball player then. He was also successful in Academia as he graduated in Law. 
Right after his retirement as a player, he started his coaching career. He coached the national senior men for three years and spent a year with the youth national team as well. He is coaching the club of Kaleh from eight years ago carrying so many trophies in national Premier League as well as Asian Club Championship. His coaching glories can be listed as championship in Iranian and Asian Championship, the 5th place of World Championship, silver medal in Asia championship and Asian Games (Guangzhou), and vice-championship in Asian Junior Championship.
