Czech Republic

The Czech national junior team has been working for 4 years. The team has players that are born in 1997 and younger.The team has participated in all the European MEVZA tournaments, where they have always won the tournament. In the U19 category the Czech national team have qualified to the European Championship and they have finished in 7 place. Because of coming 7 they qualified for the EOF and there they finished in 4 place. In the U20 category where they have also qualified the European Championship. There they have finished in 10 place.
The team has been working under the trainer Ivan Pelikán. The main players that create the game are Donovan Džavonorok - player from the Italian A league (Monza), Matěj Šmídl (VK Ostava) and Marek Šulc (ČZU Praha) - players from the czech extra league.

As a player Ivan Pelikán has played for Dukla Liberec and for many Belgium clubs (for example Sportingu Charleroi). Between the years of 1988 and 1990 Ivan Pelikán was a player in the Czechoslovakien team.
As a trainer he has worked in Belgium and in the Czech Republic. He has been a trainer of kadets(U19), juniors(U21) and men teams. Ivan Pelikan has been a trainer for junior national team since 2015. The team has qualified to the European Championship and the World Championship.
