At 51 years old, this French-Canadian is in his second season as the head coach of the Canadian Men’s Junior Team. After a dozen years playing pro overseas (France and Japan) and 16 years representing Canada on the National Team (including one appearance at the Olympics Games in 1992), Gino Brousseau turned into coaching in 2010 in his hometown of Québec City with the University of Laval, where he once attended.As the head coach of the Junior Canadian Team, he won bronze twice, at the 2016 NORCECA U21 Continental Championships and at the 2017 NORCECA U21 Pan American Cup, by defeating Guatemala both times.
