Yuri Romano leads Italy to second 3-0 win

Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic, June 27, 2017 – With both a previous win in their pockets, the match between Italy and Egypt promised to be a hard-fought one.

Despite Egypt’s win yesterday, they could not beat Italy.

Yuri Romano scored 14 points and became best offensive power of Italian team with 61% on spike which resulted in a 3-0 win over the Egyptians.
Both teams showed solid services in the first set, however Italy advanced in their play with better attacks and closed the set 26-24.

The second set was controlled by the Italians 25-20. By losing a bit of their focus, the Italians did not see the Egyptians coming as they nearly evened out the score.

The focus came back in the third set for the Italians as they did not gave the Eyptians a chance. With not playing on top of their game, they still closed the last set 25-17.
