Coach Coffigny while the Cuban national anthem is being played
Brno, Czech Republic, June 29, 2017 – The two coaches paid compliments to each other’s teams after Cuba managed a 3-1 victory over China at the FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championship in Brno.
Nicolas Vives Coffigny, coach of Cuba: “The team of China played very well, but in the end we took our chance and finished the match with victory.”
Adrian Edouardo Goide, captain of Cuba: “We are very happy for this victory, because we kept the chance to qualify to the top four.”
Genyin Ju, coach of China: “Cuba and China are both very good. Today we had our chance, but unfortunately we lost. Cuba are very good in jumping and have a very strong spike.”
Zhihao Liu, captain of China: “We played a good match with a bad result. Cuba has a really strong team.”
