Brno, Czech Republic, June 28, 2017 – It was a hard match, as both the coach and the captain of Iran stated after their FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championship 3-2 victory over China.
Behrouz Ataei, coach of Iran: “It was a very hard match, because now every loss means not to be qualified in top four. We made fewer mistakes than the opponents and I am happy for the victory.”
Rasoul Aghchehli, captain of Iran: “It was a really hard match - we know how strong China are. They play a lot of combinations with all their 12 players.”
Genyin Ju, coach of China: “Our players played at their best level today. They fought and it is a pity that we lost the sets in the end.”
Zhihao Lui, captain of China: “I am sorry that we did not win the third set. I think if we had won it, we would have won the match.”
