Brno, Czech Republic, June 29, 2017 – The coaches and the liberos of Canada and Argentina commented on the five-set match between the two teams at the FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championship in Brno.

Gino Brousseau, coach of Canada: “After losing the previous two matches, we are happy for finally winning again. I am very happy with our players, because they never give up.”

Jordan Pereira, player of Canada: “After the first two sets, we came back and fought strong, so I am really satisfied.”

Alejandro Grossi, coach of Argentina: “It was a very long match between two teams on a similar level. The difference was that we were better in the endings of two sets, and Canada – of three.”

Santiago Arroyo, player of Argentina: “We started very well in the first two sets. Afterwards we could have finished sets 3, 4 or 5 in the same way, but we did not. That is why we lost.”
