The first set started with a focused game on both sides of the net. However Italy performed better on both reception and attack. While Italy started their engines in the second set, Turkey wasn’t ready to keep up the pace.
With a perfect focus the Italians continued their game in the third set, leading up to four points from the second part of the set. In the end, the Italian team proved to be too strong throughout the whole match, claiming the ninth place.
