Giulio Pinali and Paolo Zonca outplays Ukraine for 9-10th final

 

České Budějovice, Czech Republic, July 1, 2017 – Opposite player Giulio Pinali and outside spiker Paolo Zonca showed great performance in their match against Ukraineby scoring 16 and 15 points in three sets. Italy did not give Ukraine any chance to even think about victory as they won in three straight sets (25-18, 25-14, 25-18).

In first the set, Italy started the game very well. With little chance to score, Italy spiked with 52% success against 41% Ukraine and added four killer blocks. The Italians beat Ukraine in the second set with an even better result. Ukraine had issues receiving the Mikasa. With another three aces of the Italian team, the set ended up 25-14. Ukraine tried to fight back but Italy showed that their performance was forth a place in the 9-10th final.
