Even losing is important - Mohammed Abdellaoui Maan

Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic, July 1, 2017 – The coaches and captains of USA and Morocco commented on the classification match for the 13-16th place between the two teams at the FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championship.

Mohammed Abdellaoui Maan, coach of Morocco: “It is a disappointment but all the games are important. Even losing this match is important because this is the only way to progress.”

Karim Lamri, captain of Morocco: “We didn’t prepare well for this competition, we are tired too. We need to step up our physical strength too for the future.”

Jay Hosack, coach of USA: “It is never easy and we respect all our opponents equally. I give a lot of heads up to Morocco, they kept fighting. I also give a lot of credit to my guys, this match was maybe not a heated battle as some of the other ones but you still have to keep the focus.”

Joshua Tuaninga, captain of USA: “We kept our focus during this game and we were well-aware of the action.”
