Coaches pay mutual compliments after USA v Cuba match

 

Cuba's coach Nicolas Vives Coffigny smiling in the mixed zone after winning against USA

Brno, Czech Republic, June 24, 2017 – The coaches of the two teams paid each other’s teams mutual compliments in the mixed zone after Cuba defeated USA in straight sets in an FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championship Pool B clash in Brno.

Nicolas Vives Coffigny, coach of Cuba: “The national team of USA is a good team, but we were better today. We served, received and attacked well. I am not satisfied with our block-defence though.”

Adrian Eduardo Goide, captain of Cuba: “We played very well today. It was a very hard match for both teams. We came to win the game today and we managed it by 3-0.”


Jay Hosack, coach of USA: “Cuba are a very good team with a lot of physical players. Now we have to concentrate on tomorrow’s match. We play with Russia. For us it is a good opportunity to finish well in this pool.”

Joshua Tuaniga, captain of USA: “It was a good match today and we must congratulate the Cuba team for winning. We hope for a good match tomorrow.”
