Coach Khromenkov already thinking of next matches

 

Russia's coach Khromenkov in the mixed zone

Brno, Czech Republic, June 25, 2017 – Russia’s coach Vladimir Khromenkov is already thinking about his team’s preparation for the next stage of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championship, while his American counterpart Jay Hosack analyzed the match between the two teams.

Vladimir Khromenkov, coach of Russia: “Now we must prepare for the next matches after tomorrow. This is the most important thing for us right now.”

Konstantin Abaev, captain of Russia: “We are happy with today’s result, but our game and how we played were not too good.”


Jay Hosack, coach of USA: “Russia is a good team. They are going to be in the hunt for a gold medal. They have a lot of professional players. We do not have any professional players in my team. My guys got better with each match. They put on a good fight and that is what I want.”

Joshuan Tuaninga, captain of USA: “Russia was a great team. We came in fighting with a lot of heart and just enjoyed the game. Good luck to them!”
