47 games without losing! I am so proud of these boys – coach Pawlik

 

Coach Pawlik in the air as a well-deserved recognition by his players

Brno, Czech Republic, July 2, 2017 – Sebastian Pawlik, the coach of Poland, had very strong words to say after his team won the title at the FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championship Czech Republic 2017.

Sebastian Pawlik, coach of Poland: “This team won 47 games without losing! We played tournament after tournament and never lost any game and that is why I am so proud of these boys and I am really happy I could work with them! Winning is always a beautiful emotion. We fulfilled our target.”

Lukasz Kozub, player of Poland: “It is great that we played this final and achieved a win like this. I am so proud of this team, our coaches and our staff and the results we have achieved. It is great!”


Nicolas Vives Coffigny, coach of Cuba: “It was a really tough game, but the Polish team was simply stronger. Congratulations to the new champion! I am so proud of our team and we are so grateful for the silver medals.”
 
Adrian Edouardo Goide, captain of Cuba: “Congratulations to the Polish guys! They played simply amazingly. We did our best, but it was not enough. The silver medals are the best present we will take home from Brno.”
