Silva Moraes maintain solid position for Brazil

České Budějovice, Czech Republic, June 25, 2017 – With Brazil in top position in their pool and Japan second, a spectacle was promised in the Budvar Arena during the FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championship.
Davy Silva Moraes helped Brazil to win in 3 straight sets 25:23, 25:20, 25:21.

With a strong desire to win, Japan played a solid first set with strong attacks and surprised the Brazilians with a 15:18 lead. However Brazil came back with their blocking skills and closed the set 25:23. Spiker Cardoso and opposite Silva Moraes helped their team to close the gap and both 7 points in this first set.

With only one or two points between the teams in the beginning of the second set, Japan had a solid chance to close the second set. The end of the second set was controlled by Brazil which led them to a 25:20 score.

The warrior mode by Japan stayed on, however they knew it was going to be tough to close the third set by Brazil's blocks. Brazil won in three straight sets and celebrated this one by 25:21.
